OK, I am one of those "I never write reviews" people. I am leaving this review for two reasons.
1). Researching infrared saunas is overwhelming and it is difficult to separate hyperbole from reality. I was leaning towards buying a sauna from a much much more expensive company based on their slick marketing. However, if you take the time to research some of the other companies reputations, you quickly learn that the focus of some other companies is all marketing while delivering a mediocre to terrible product at a massive markup. These guys provided me with a high quality sauna at a fraction of the price of their competitors. I am so glad I did not throw away all that extra cash!
2). The customer service from these guys is outstanding. The delivery was fast and they have gone above and beyond helping me out and answering questions every step of the way. I even had an issue with the delivery company that was not Salus Heat's fault at all (I was stressed and possibly being a bit of a "Karen"), yet Salus Heat still immediately took care of me with no questions asked.
If you are doing your research, reading reviews, know this company is legit and they will take care of you.
We think this sauna is great! It was very easy to put together and gets nice and hot with the mix heaters! The 2 person model fits us both very comfortably. We would definitely recommend it!

Brand-new Ceramic and Carbon Panel Infrared Heater
200% Increase In Heating Efficiency With Ceramic Heaters
Our pure carbon panels infrared heater has a maximum temperature setting of 149 degrees. When set to 100% power output, it can reach this temperature within 20 minutes. However, some people who are resistant to high heat are not satisfied with the maximum temperature of 149 degrees and the need to preheat for ten minutes to experience a sweaty session. To address this, we have developed the new Mix Sauna series, which combines ceramic tubes and carbon heaters.
Through testing, we found that when the ceramic tube heater is turned on, its surface temperature rapidly increases from room temperature to around 100 degrees. After heating for 5 minutes, it can reach a high temperature of 149 degrees. The maximum surface temperature it can reach is close to 200 degrees.
Increased An Extra Layer Of Safety
For safety reasons, we automatically turn off the power to the ceramic heater when both the carbon plate heater and the monitor reach 149 degrees. This allows the carbon plate heater, which provides more even and gentle heating, to continue providing a comfortable sauna experience. However, you can still turn the ceramic heaters back on to continue warming up the cabin.
In addition, the ceramic tube heater features a raised surface wood finish that prevents it from getting too hot and burning your skin.

The Mix-902BLH infrared sauna is equipped with 6* carbon panel heaters around the perimeter in addition to 2* ceramic tube heater of 300W. Both the ceramic tube heater and carbon plate heater have plenty of far infrared rays, not only that, the ceramic tube heater also has a little bit of near infrared rays to supplement the far infrared rays. Near-infrared rays have shorter wavelengths and higher energy levels, allowing them to penetrate the skin and heat objects more efficiently, while far-infrared rays have longer wavelengths and lower energy levels, making them better at providing a gentle and deep heating sensation.

04. Can the indoor saunas be placed outside under covered patio?
Outdoor saunas have even less impact because of the added water barrier and the sealant on windows, etc.
05. What type of wood are the Mix-902BLH saunas made from?
If you are looking for an odorless wood, then Hemlock is the obvious choice for you.
This inconspicuous wood will blend into your home as the color resonates as a pale white or a light brown.
If you choose Hemlock and later wish to incorporate the aromatherapy of cedar into your experience you can always bring the essential oil of Cedar into the sauna with you or light some Cedar incense.
For those individuals who are highly sensitive to scent, Hemlock will be a better option for you.
