The sauna was delivered in the window given by Salus Heat. It came on a pallet with 3 boxes. The panels were easy for my husband and I to carry upstairs of our home. It went together easily. Being a Yooper, I am by birthright a sauna snob and this is not a traditional steam on the rocks sauna by any means, but it is warm and relaxing and a great addition to our master bathroom. My only complaint is I wish we did this years ago. It’s so easy to use and heats up in a reasonable amount of time. Now if we can just get all of you to pronounce it correctly! It’s a sow-na NOT a saw-na :)

When searching for options for my new home sauna, I'll admit I was somewhat skeptical due to the affordability of this Salus Heat 2 person corner model. While others are charging more than DOUBLE the price, this unit from Salus Heat has NOT DISSAPOINTED in any way, shape, or form. It went together in about 40 minutes, just as promised. This sauna is amazing! I had one of those pop up cheap steam tent saunas as a gateway into this before, but this dry sauna blows that out of the water. It gets so hot, that with in 10 minutes. Minutes I'm pouring sweat, and I can only hang out in there for 30 minutes. Seating is comfortable for me alone, and I'm a big guy. My son got in there at the same time, and we can make it work with two, but if you're bigger this will be plenty of space for one, or two smaller people. Wood is high quality, there was only some minor damage on shipping, nothing that a few brad nails couldn't fix. It was packed well and instructions pretty easy to follow.
One suggestion I might make would be to stick numbered flags on the electrical cables for underneath the bench to make it easier to connect them. The picture is kind of small, and we had to look at it several times to make sure it was connected correctly.
Takes about 30 minutes to heat up to full temperature, but it maintains its heat well. Bluetooth speakers are good quality, and the lighting inside is very nice.
Did have to contact customer service but they have been extremely helpful, and quick to respond. This was about delivery issues, not anything related to the sauna itself.
If you're on the fence about whether this is a good buy, I would wholeheartedly endorse it. Even my wife who is our style judge likes the look of this in our home.
My husband and I bought this two person sauna as a Christmas gift for adult son. He shares the house with us, so, mabe a selfish gift! The spot we planned to put it didn't have a level floor or convient outlet. We had our electrician run an outlet, and husband put self leveling concrete. Sauna was delivered Christmas Eve in 3 large boxes. Christmas day after dinner husband and two sons unpacked the boxes and built the sauna as they unpacked. I was amazed. Beautiful and heated up as dessert was served. So much quicker than I expected. It heats up quickly, I love the lights and bluetooth speaker. Very comfortable heat on the floor for feet. I'm so pleased with our purchase. Now we have to get the rest of the room fixed up. Everyone wants to visit.
I can not praise this product enough. The setup took about 15 minutes with a friend. It's very intuitive with detailed directions. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first given the sauna uses a normal outlet. My main concern was the marketed temperatures would not be achieved, but I've never been so pleasantly surprised as it reached 149 in just under 40 minutes. One of the key factors I was looking or was a decent sound experience via their Bluetooth speakers which surpassed my expectations. Furthermore, the chromotherapy lights are a great touch. I've been using the sauna every morning for 2 weeks now and the impact it's on my physical and mental health is tangible. There is no placebo effect here which is not surprising given the numerous studies supporting the science. The most noticeable impact has been on my skin, morning energy, relieving muscle soreness, and overall post-workout recovery. In addition, the size and shape of this sauna is incredibly comfortable for 2-3 average sized individuals. I'm truly excited to see how I will feel 6 months down the road because the short-term benefits of been incredibly positive. I highly recommend this product for anyone that lives an active lifestyle and is looking for ways to improve their overall health and well-being.
The sauna is fantastic for a one person experience. The heat is intense and bills quickly. Wood and all parts are very good quality. Soundsystem is also quality.
I was searching for a high temp unit that would work in a standard outlet and came across this unit, it is perfect! I ordered it with “room of your choice” delivery and that was an awesome experience, the delivery team was efficient and respectful of our space. Great communication from the warehouse while in transit as well! This thing is quick to heat up and comfortable to use. My husband and I can both sit comfortably in this together. I do recommend ordering a back rest and sauna thermometer if you’re interested in the interior temp/humidity level.
We got the sauna right on time, it was very well packed. The sauna is well built, and very easy to put together, less then 60 minutes. The only thing i can say, the sauna door could be seald better, it is letting cold air in when in use.
Initially the set up was much harder than expected and took a few hours, which made me hesitant at first. However, after finally getting it finished, it has worked amazingly. I use it twice a day and it gets much hotter than expected. Takes about 20 minutes to get to full heat and once it’s there I physically can’t sit in it longer than 30 minutes. Sit on a towel and use another to wipe your sweat and you’ll never have to clean it. I am a fan. Best one on the market for the price.
We've had our sauna for about a month now and we really like it. I could tell just by unpacking it, it was really quality made. All the panels put together precisely - just as expected. Love the blue-tooth speakers and the chromotherapy lights. You can choose 1 color for the entire sauna session or select RGB to have it cycle through all 7 colors (about every 3 minutes). Each of the ceramic heaters has a separate switch inside the cabin to turn off for example if sitting right next to it. I also got the backrests and they are well worth it. It contours nice to my back and keeps sweat off the internal sauna slats. Sit on a towel - you will definitely sweat!
