WOOD CARE
Wood is a living material that continues to respond to climate conditions, even after being manufactured into a sauna. Variations in the color or grain and irregularities such as fine cracks are part of the natural beauty of the wood and in no way should be considered defects. During outdoor use, wood may crack slightly due to the changes in moisture level. This will not affect the structural integrity of the sauna.
One of the perks of far infrared saunas is that the infrared waves themselves have natural disinfecting and sterilizing properties. So, if your sauna isn’t particularly dirty, you don’t have to worry about cleaning it too often. Just kick back, relax, and enjoy your personal retreat!
To keep things fresh and friendly, give your sauna a good clean every two weeks or after every 5-10 sweaty sessions. Your future self—and your sauna buddies—will thank you!
It is also not necessary to clean the exterior of the sauna. Our sauna not only undergoes a thorough electrical inspection before being packed and shipped, but we also apply a thick water-based protective varnish to the exterior.
Also, the sauna bench is one of the most personal and frequently used surfaces in your sauna, to keep it in good condition, we apply a layer of water-based varnish. This varnish is water-resistant and durable, but it’s important to note that it can dissolve in alcohol. For this reason, it’s best to avoid any treatment containing benzene or a high concentration of alcohol.
If the indoor sauna's wood surface appears visibly discolored, you can apply the varnish as needed. Also, the outdoor sauna's wood surface can be applied with a hard wax oil or protective finish.

- The "App Control" feature is misleading. It only functions within a 20-yard radius at best. Having reliable Wi-Fi capabilities was an important feature for me, so I was disappointed to discover these limitations.
- The unit takes 45 minutes to an hour to reach 140°F.
- The infrared heater located at the bottom near your feet becomes unbearably hot to the touch, even with the hemlock wood covering.
- One of the electrical connectors arrived damaged. While I was able to address this myself using wire connectors, it was an unexpected inconvenience.
- Although customer service is responsive, their suggested solution to use a "SwitchBot" for remote control of the sauna was impractical. The control panel is a touch screen, making this workaround ineffective.
Summary:
While the unit functions as expected during use, the lack of certain key features, especially reliable remote control capabilities, has left me feeling disappointed with my purchase.

After researching several indoor sauna, we decided to go with Salus Heat. They are a reputable company since 2004 and offer a lifetime warranty. The company provided free shipping and easy instructions for installation. The entire process from opening the boxes to completion was 1 hour, requiring 2 people to install. From 68 degrees inside my house, I was able to heat the unit to 140 degrees in 20 minutes. The unit is built solid and we are happy with it. So far, we owned it for a week and used it daily for 20 minutes. It really helps with detoxification and arthritis.
After a wait with the shipping company and some damaged items that needed to be replaced, we have our sauna up and running and use it almost every day. Even the neighbors have come over to sit in the "hot box" for a bit. During the extra cold days and nights, it's a wonderful place to get warm quickly. My husband uses it after each of his workouts at the gym as well.
I researched Saunas for several weeks before buying. I was torn between an indoor or outdoor. I ended up going with this model and it’s been great! My wife and I both have been enjoying it. We both love the different lighting options along with the BT option. Set up took us prob an hour with unboxing. I would recommend at minimum two people for install. Some pieces are pretty heavy and bulky. However everything went together for the most part with ease. It’s taken about 25 mins to reach 130ish degrees. I think my only downfall with this model is the app. For me it doesn’t work a lot of the times and just seems outdated. Other than that no complaints, would recommend!
Great infrared sauna. It was delivered within the given delivery time frame and the delivery was scheduled ahead of time so you can plan to receive it. Set-up was surprisingly easy. I was able to put it together with just one person in maybe a little over an hour. It gets up to temperature and provides a great sweat. Perfect for cold winter days. Bluetooth works easily with any device and the LED lightning is cool. Smells good too!
This sauna does everything it claims to do and more. If you have soreness from the gym or trouble sleeping at night 20 minutes in this baby will cure your problems. And on top of that make your skin feel better than ever. 10/10

You just need to put all the boards together in the order according to the instructions and plug in the circuit connectors between the boards and you are ready to use.
A strong person could install most infrared saunas alone. But two people can do it much more easily if they work together.
According to the honest feedback from customers, they will be installed in 20-30 minutes, we are very proud of the ease of installation.
04. Can the indoor saunas be placed outside under covered patio?
Outdoor saunas have even less impact because of the added water barrier and the sealant on windows, etc.
05. What type of wood are the Ample-902SH saunas made from?
If you are looking for an odorless wood, then Hemlock is the obvious choice for you.
This inconspicuous wood will blend into your home as the color resonates as a pale white or a light brown.
If you choose Hemlock and later wish to incorporate the aromatherapy of cedar into your experience you can always bring the essential oil of Cedar into the sauna with you or light some Cedar incense.
For those individuals who are highly sensitive to scent, Hemlock will be a better option for you.
