The brand new S-shape Sauna Backrest is made of natural wood (Canadian Premium Hemlock), has no stains, is non-toxic and wear-resistant, and is high temperature resistant.
This ergonomic S-shape curved backrest is elegant and comfortable fitting any sauna room. Loading capacity 300 lbs
Using the wood backrest to keep your back away from the infrared heater in the sauna room, gives you the safest and most relaxing way to enjoy the infrared sauna.
Traditional sauna-Lean on the curved backrest is more relaxing and comfortable than on the traditional sauna bench.
No assembly is needed.

Size Shopping Guide:

For ergonomic reasons, it is recommended that individuals measuring 6'3" or taller or weighing over 200 pounds to opt for a generously sized 16.6-inch backrest.
Otherwise, 13-inch backrest is sufficient.
Furthermore, please note that the 4-Person Outdoor model is better suited for a 13-inch backrest, otherwise the backrest will protrude beyond the seat panel. This applies to the Purity 1-Person model as well.

Quality is as advertised

Product was delivered on time. We did have to adjust the inside control panel as it was pushed back during shipping. Removed two screws and reset the panel. I had help with the assembly as I am 80 years young and not as strong as I once was. Would highly recommend white glove delivery. Shipping boxes are huge. Recommend back rests as well. About 20 minutes to preheat. Nice addition to our home.

Comfortable, lightweight backrest

I ordered this backrest to go inside my new sauna without realizing how much i needed it. It’s comfortable to lean back against and keeps my back from burning against the sauna. Definitely worth the purchase! For size reference I’m 5’6” and 130lbs and the medium fits me well.

I got the large back rest but probably could have settled for the medium. It is a great quality solid back rest. I recommend getting it for your sauna.

Worth buying!

I purchased this to go along with the two-person sauna I bought. Frankly, I wasn’t sure I needed the backrest, but after having used it a few times, I’m very glad I have it. ☺️

I put it against the side so I can lean back a bit and stretch my legs out on the bench. It’s very comfortable, it keeps my back off the heater area, and it allows me to be in a different position in the sauna for a while, other than sitting on the bench facing forward.

It’s sturdy, priced well, and should last forever.

SalusHeat brings warmth into my life!

I have been wanting a sauna for quite sometime before coming across this one person infrared sauna. To my surprise, putting it together was a breeze and I am a female in my 40s. I worried about connecting the panels wrong, but the wires only go in with matching connectors so it is impossible to attach it incorrectly. The directions attached are very well written. If you are of a small to average statue, this sauna is for you. Otherwise, check the dimensions because you might want to consider another larger option. I personally have been enjoying this unit especially now as winter is approaching. I’ve installed my unit in my basement, but this could fit anywhere. The wood feels wonderful and it’s been very relaxing to be able to connect my favorite meditation or watch a show while using it. The speakers are an added bonus. Thank you SalusHeat for this amazing product and really fast shipping!

Functional, inexpensive sauna backrest has held up for me

It's a bit more comfortable for me in my home sauna. My husband doesn't use it and prefers his back against the heaters. Has held up fine over the past few months.
