WOOD CARE
Wood is a living material that continues to respond to climate conditions, even after being manufactured into a sauna. Variations in the color or grain and irregularities such as fine cracks are part of the natural beauty of the wood and in no way should be considered defects. During outdoor use, wood may crack slightly due to the changes in moisture level. This will not affect the structural integrity of the sauna.
One of the perks of far infrared saunas is that the infrared waves themselves have natural disinfecting and sterilizing properties. So, if your sauna isn’t particularly dirty, you don’t have to worry about cleaning it too often. Just kick back, relax, and enjoy your personal retreat!
To keep things fresh and friendly, give your sauna a good clean every two weeks or after every 5-10 sweaty sessions. Your future self—and your sauna buddies—will thank you!
It is also not necessary to clean the exterior of the sauna. Our sauna not only undergoes a thorough electrical inspection before being packed and shipped, but we also apply a thick water-based protective varnish to the exterior.
Also, the sauna bench is one of the most personal and frequently used surfaces in your sauna, to keep it in good condition, we apply a layer of water-based varnish. This varnish is water-resistant and durable, but it’s important to note that it can dissolve in alcohol. For this reason, it’s best to avoid any treatment containing benzene or a high concentration of alcohol.
If the indoor sauna's wood surface appears visibly discolored, you can apply the varnish as needed. Also, the outdoor sauna's wood surface can be applied with a hard wax oil or protective finish.
The sauna is attractive and works well. The sound connection to device for music works well and is of decent quality output. The unit was delivered 7 September 2024. On first rain the finish significantly washed off making the finish look bad. I will have to re-stain and finish it with a better quality clear sealant. The door gaskets have also fallen off the glass and do not hold when put back on (expansion from heat?). I will need to glue them on to hold them to keep air from easily passing through. Otherwise, functionally it is good, smells nice inside and is comfortable.
We are so happy with our purchase! It was really easy to set up. My husband did the whole thing in about 45 minutes. We’ve been using it almost daily for the last couple months and neither of us have gotten sick even with our toddlers bringing home a plethora of germs from daycare lol. Definitely recommend getting the back rest as it makes it much more comfortable. It’s a beautiful looking sauna. Takes about 20 minutes to warm up to highest temp and we live in San Diego. Also highly recommend the sauna cover, if it’s perfectly and is really user-friendly.
We debated between a 2-person and 3-person sauna and ultimately went with the Garner-902VS 2 Person Outdoor Infrared Sauna. I am 6'6" tall so was concerned with space, but the 2-person model fits my wife and me nicely. The unit arrived in good shape and very well packaged. It took longer to unbox than for the actual installation. Once put together we plugged it in and it was ready to go. We've probably used it 10 times in the past two weeks, have loved it so far and are happy with our purchase!
We really like our new sauna. Easy to put together. High quality. Only disappointment was I ordered it for my husband for Christmas on 12/6. It said it would be here before Christmas, but it was delayed and not delivered until 12/26.

Easy to assemble. One box was delayed but I hooked it up and it works great. The trim on inside window was loos so i puts some screws in and was great. Family is enjoying.
We recently purchased the Garner 902vs and couldn't be more happy with it. Building it was a breeze, and you only really need 2 people for the roof portion. We had it built in 30 min. We opted for the all weather cover, and as we live in Chicago feel that it helps retaining the heat in our cold winters. We did add some silicone and additional weather stripping to the front glass wall since we were able to feel some cold air seeping through. For reference, if the temps are in the low 40's, we can achieve max sauna temp (149) in about 45 minutes. If it is in the high 20's or low 30's, the sauna will heat to about 133 degrees in 45 minutes. This is still plenty hot for a good sweat. The Bluetooth connectivity is awesome, and we play spa music during a session. Overall, a great sauna for a great price.

02. Does the Garner-902VS sauna require special wiring?

You just need to put all the boards together in the order according to the instructions and plug in the circuit connectors between the boards and you are ready to use.
A strong person could install most infrared saunas alone. But two people can do it much more easily if they work together.
According to the honest feedback from customers, they will be installed in 20-30 minutes, we are very proud of the ease of installation.
04. How is an infrared sauna different than a “regular sauna?”
SalusHEAT infrared saunas use Carbon Fiber heated elements to gently warm your skin to encourage sweat in a warm environment where it’s easy to breathe normally.
Infrared waves (also known as photobiomodulation) have been used in the medical field for many years. They are used to positively affect neural and nerve stimulation, as well as increasing wound healing time and decreasing pain.
Infrared saunas are the cheapest saunas to run because they will plug into the wall like a hairdryer and draw less than 15 amps. They cost between 20-30 cents an hour to operate.
The energy use of this Energy Efficient sauna won't break the bank. For an hour long session every day, our customers report that the cost is about 30 dollars a year.
05. What type of wood are the Garner-902VS saunas made from?
We advise against exposing Fir wood to prolonged direct sunlight in order to prevent cracking. However, if you choose to use a cover, it can help protect the wood. On the other hand, basswood, red cedar, and mahogany are suitable for areas with frequent wind and rain, and it is acceptable to place the sauna in direct sunlight.
And we have applied 3-5 layers of waterproof coating on the wood's surface, and the glass is secured with sealing strips and glass glue. To ensure long-lasting protection for your outdoor sauna, we recommend applying an outdoor wood wax oil every 6 months for up to 10 years of safeguarding.
